All of the work I create is original, authentic and made with years
of practice and experience. I believe that only work that one creates by hand - whether that be with a traditional medium or digital -can ever capture true emotion, creativity and have real meaning and momentum. It carries our pain, our love, our joy, sadness, and nostalgia. A machine can not and will never be able to recreate that. 

 

Artificial intelligence has unfortunately penetrated the creative and writing space. But I refuse to give up and will continue to stand strongly against the use of it. Not just for my reasons above, but also for the pure fact that it is so incredibly harmful
to our environment. 

 

It poses risks such as privacy violations, feeds off of the stolen work of others that never consented to any database being fed their pieces, and therefore can not create original and copyrighted work, no matter what anyone tries to say.
AI‘s impact is significant, primarily due to it‘s massive electricity and water consumption for training models and data centers - which leads to increased carbon emissions, strain on local grids and of course pressure on water resources - with projections showing billions of liters used annually. It is simply unethical and has no perks that justify this insane waste and strain on our planet.
